Obituary for Roy Schutte

Roy E. Schutte passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with his family by his side at the age of 83 years.

Roy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith (nee Rieve); children, David (Patti), Diane Dicks, Daniel (Donna), and Dean; grandchildren, Jason, Brenda, Tony, Steven, Rebecca, Joseph, Sam, Nate, Ben, Seth, Megan, and Colleen; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Dylan, Kenna, David, Niklas, Gavin, Grayson, Drew, Jakob, Sydney, Ashton, Abbie, Grant, Nora, William, James, and Santiago. He is further survived by his sister, Marion; sister-in-law, Joanne, brother-in-law, Glenn; god children, Craig and Cindy; niece, Heidi; and nephews, Eric, Greg, Jeff, and Mike.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Anna Schutte; In-laws, Gilbert and Clara Rieve; brother-in-law, Dr. Guenther Pohlmann; and infant grandchildren, Kristi, Brian, and Atticus.

Roy served his apprenticeship at Allis Chalmers and was the co-owner of Astro Pattern Corp. of Waukesha. Roy and Judy retired in 1990 to Pickerel, WI. and after 19 years, moved to Watertown, WI. to be near family.

The visitation for Roy will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI. 53188. The memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Lisbon-Merton Union Cemetery.
